new beginnings

Noah’s family was given a fresh start!

So we’ve begun a new venture for children

Our Sunday morning "Noah's Ark" can cater for children ages 5 to 11, whether they're from the local area or across the wider region of L15 (or beyond).

Do come along on any Sunday morning and you will be made most welcome. We will be glad to meet the children, learn more about your needs and share ideas with you.

Parents can enjoy tea and toast with friends while they wait... or drop off and collect.

The CRAFT group meets every Tuesday 11:00am. All ages and abilities are welcome. There is a buffet lunch at 12 noon for which there is a voluntary contribution of £1 towards the cost of the meal.

Can you help? Just come along to our Church Hall (at the rear of the church) each Tuesday till 1:00pm.

“THANK YOU!”

THE FOLK IN OUR TUESDAY CRAFT GROUP HAVE BEEN MAKING BABYWEAR ITEMS…

THESE WILL BE TAKEN TO LIVERPOOL WOMEN’S HOSPITAL.

THEY WILL GO ON THE STALL IN THE FOYER TO HELP RAISE FUNDS FOR THE NEWBORN APPEAL

Other items made in our Tuesday sessions include a Heart of Poppies, a Curtain of Poppies and, more recently, in readiness for our Christmas celebrations, a set of Nativity figures in wool for display in the church.

On the first Tuesday in every month we hold a Christian Endeavour meeting at 8:00pm in the meeting room of the Church Hall (at the rear of the church).  This is a fairly informal time together. Each month we enjoy a different speaker.

The topics, themes and the nature of each evening varying widely throughout the season.  All are welcome.

We are happy to hold events designed to raise awareness of a range of health and social concerns. These are crucial parts of our Christian service.  We also have fund-raising activities to support the work of several registered charities as well as our own church.

We offered friendship, fun and fellowship at our recent coffee-and-cake Saturday morning sale of baby-related items, gifts and knitted wear morning. A great success!

Having enjoyed our discussions on the gospel of JOHN , we chose the book of ACTS for our most recent study.

Using the Book-by-Book series of questions and DVDs, we have been meeting each Friday in 10 weekly sessions to help deepen our understanding and strengthen our faith.

Our seasonal bible study courses are run during the week on days chosen by those who want to join us. They are open to all.

Previous weekly discussions on the gospel of JOHN were so rewarding and enjoyable, we chose the book of ACTS for our most recent study earlier this year. Look out for future bible studies. As ever, all are welcome.
